These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Finance Chauffeur's websites and apps (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Educational content only — not financial advice

Finance Chauffeur provides general financial education only. It is not personalized financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and using it does not create any advisory or fiduciary relationship. Tax figures and contribution limits change every year — verify current numbers with the IRS or a qualified professional. Always consider speaking with a licensed advisor about your specific situation before making financial decisions. You are solely responsible for decisions you make.

Your account

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Free content and the Pro tier

All core educational content — lessons, glossary, and calculators — is free. The optional Pro tier unlocks compute-intensive, personalized features such as the AI Money Coach, personal dashboard, budgeting tools, and scenario planner.

Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription. The price and billing period are shown before you purchase.
• Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and your payment method is charged for the next period.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then.
• Where required by law, you may be entitled to a refund; otherwise payments are non-refundable except at our discretion.
• If you purchase through a third-party app store, that store's billing, cancellation, and refund rules also apply, and you manage the subscription through your store account settings.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service in a way that competes with it (sharing free educational content with people is encouraged).

Intellectual property

The Service and its content are owned by Finance Chauffeur and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for financial decisions you make based on the educational content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
