Early access — all four Pro tools are live and improving every week

The learning is free. The computing will be Pro.

Our promise is simple: knowledge is free, forever— every lesson, glossary term, quiz, and calculator. Pro will exist only for features that cost us real money to run per user: AI compute, server storage, and cross-device sync. Here's the line, drawn clearly.

What's inside Pro

Flagship · Early accessPro

AI Money Coach

Ask money questions in plain English and get answers grounded in our lessons, applied to your numbers.

A chat assistant built on the same free lessons and glossary you can read today — but personalized. Have it explain your pay stub line by line, compare Roth vs. traditional with your salary, or sanity-check a loan offer before you sign. It cites the lessons it draws from, and it teaches — it never gives personalized investment, tax, or legal advice.

Why it's Pro: Every question costs real AI compute to answer. The lessons it learns from stay free.

Personal Dashboard

A living picture of your money — net worth, debt payoff, savings — that updates over time.

Enter your income, debts, and goals once and get a private dashboard that keeps the math current: net-worth trend, debt-payoff timeline, savings projections. Synced across your devices, so the picture follows you.

Why it’s Pro: Stored data and cross-device sync cost money to run per user. One-shot calculators stay free.

Budget

Track every transaction, see where the money actually goes, and keep a running ledger that's always up to date.

The app's ledger: bring in transactions from your bank's CSV export (or add them by hand) and get a clean, searchable feed — every purchase auto-sorted into categories like Groceries, Dining, and Subscriptions, with one-click fixes when we guess wrong. Budgets, cash-flow views, and subscription detection all build on it.

Why it’s Pro: Your transaction history is stored and synced per user, which costs real money to run. The one-shot budget calculator stays free.

Scenario Planner

Layer real what-ifs — “move $200/mo to my 401(k) and refinance at 5.5%” — and see 5 years out.

Stack multiple changes at once — extra payments, rate changes, contribution shifts — and watch multi-year projections update together. Save scenarios and compare them side by side.

Why it’s Pro: Multi-factor projections and saved scenarios need real compute and storage. Basic calculators stay free.

One plan, one honest price

Finance Chauffeur Pro · early access

$7/month

Low enough for a first job's budget, high enough to cover the AI and server costs Pro features create. Cancel anytime from the billing portal. Honest caveat: all four tools are early access — fully usable today, but actively improving, and anything we add lands on this same plan at no extra cost. A yearly option and a student discount are planned.

Why charge for anything at all?

Reading a lesson costs us almost nothing to serve, so it's free. Answering AI questions, storing your dashboard, and syncing devices cost real money every time you use them. Charging for those — and only those — is how the free side stays free without ads, data selling, or “premium content” games. We will never move a lesson, glossary term, or calculator behind the paywall.
